HAMILTON, ON – (Saturday, June 23rd, 2018) – Clots Matter announces the launch of a series of resources which will be added to the ClotsMatter.ca website. Thursday, Martin R. Lemieux, Clots Matter Founder participated in a LIVE FB event, on: Women & Stoke Awareness. This great LIVE feature was hosted by the Hamilton Health Sciences, with a special appearance from:Dr. Sumiti Nayar.
Along with the live Q & A, we've also added the video featuring Dr. James Sahlas, who’s a Stroke Neurologist. He discusses the importance of: "React F.A.S.T. to the Signs of Stroke" within this very important #StrokeAwareness video. Patients need to be aware of the signs, when it comes to a Brain Ischemic Stoke, people need to react FAST (F-Face is drooping, A-Arms can't be raised, S-Speech is slurred, and T-time to call 911 asap). There is little time to react, each minute diminishes the chances of complete brain recovery. Loosing blood to the bran can be fatal.

Clots Matter is a Canadian based non-profit organization dedicated to helping patients learn about the risks of blood clots, while benefiting from a patient-based support program.
